Welcome Junior Achievement of New York Volunteers!

This Friday, October 6th, marks PS 139 and Junior Achievement of New York’s third consecutive year of partnering together for “JA in a Day”.  Warm welcome to this year’s volunteers!  Wishing you and our students an engaging, lively, and fun day of discovery and learning about our families, our communities, and our local and national economy at age appropriate levels.

JA’s volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential.  For information about last year’s “JA in a Day”, please read PS 139’s special issue Rugby Road Reporter newsletter HERE.
